Issey118 is one of the treasured heritage cottages in Stanford. Centrally situated alongside the Stanford Hotel, it’s a two minute stroll away from the river, shops and restaurants.

The cottage has two spacious bedrooms making it a perfect weekend getaway for up to four guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and double basins. There is also a dressing room. The second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

There is a sunny open plan living area with comfortable seating, a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and an authentic wood fired pizza oven. Not only is this oven used for pizzas, but also for bread baking, slow roasting or for casseroles and soups. It’s the highlight of winter weekends in the country. Free Wi-Fi is provided but there is no TV.

Outside there is a gorgeous verandah, an exquisite garden and a covered braai area. There is undercover parking for two vehicles and enough space to park a trailer or boat.
